Integrated Management System

Management Systems Acknowledgment
The three management systems applied by GMI which are certified, to ensure the quality, environmental impact control and occupational health and safety, are recognized by the Quality Management Committee of the National Society of Industries of Peru.


Peruvian Company of the Year 2012
GMI obtained the Peruvian Company of the Year Award in recognition to his leadership and professionalism among the companies in the industry in Peru. This award is presented annually by the Civil Association Peruvian Company of the Year, which highlights the efficiency of managerial and administrative management for achieving excellence in business development and overall quality in the products and services provided by companies in Peru.

Business Creativity Award to the Knowledge Management System
GMI relies on technology to integrate and support the several work teams located in different parts of Peru and Latin America. Thanks to the Knowledge Management System GMI may disseminate the culture and working system to their employees, regardless of their geographic location.

The Knowledge Management System of GMI has won the Business Creativity Award, granted by the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC).

ISO 9001: 2008 Certification
The Quality Management System of GMI, certified under Standard ISO 9001, is aimed at the continuous improvement of the organization in order to ensure the highest level of quality in the execution of their projects, providing innovative solutions and value added in the service. Thus, each project is developed with the support of established processes, as well as the planning and control processes to ensure standardization and quality.

ISO 14001: 2004 Certification
GMI promotes and encourages a culture of environmental protection within and outside the organization. The Environmental Management System certified under the Standard ISO 14001 establishes operational internal procedures, in order to comply with the environmental legislation in force and achieve the goals set to their customers and the society as well.

Occupational Safety and Health

OHSAS 18001: 2007 Certification
The Occupational Health and Safety System of GMI maintains its high level of security through processes certified under the Standard OHSAS 18001, which allow the execution of projects and activities under the motto “zero accidents”, preventing diseases and labour injuries.

Compliance Before Deadline

Before Deadline Certificates
Year after year, GMI shows the compliance before deadlines in running projects. Since 1994 receives the “Before the Deadline” certificates awarded by prestigious auditing firms like PwC (certifications from 1994-2006 and 2010 to 2012) and KPMG (certifications from 2007 to 2009).
