GMI was recognized for its Knowledge Management Practices (11.2014)

For the second consecutive year, the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) recognized GMI in the top 55 companies in America and the 104th company worldwide for its Knowledge Management Practices. MAKE is a committee formed by experts of the Fortune 500 companies that searches for the best practices in Knowledge Management and recognizes them regionally and worldwide. GMI was recognized for: I) Making Sustainable an Organizational Culture based on Sharing Knowledge; II) Maximizing the Intellectual Capital; and III) Transforming Knowledge into Added Value. This distinction was obtained together with companies such as Fluor, Bechtel, Ecopetrol, PwC, Google and Apple.

Graña y Montero was ranked 4th among the 100th Peruvian Companies with best corporate reputation

10.10.2013 A new milestone was established for our organization. The study "Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation 2013" conducted annually by the international consulting firm Merco, partnered with Datum, Gestión and KPMG, placed the Graña y Montero Group 4th among the 100th Peruvian companies with better corporate reputation. In the 2012 edition, we obtained the 7th position in the same ranking, improving 3 positions.

This new award given in recognition to the favorable opinion of high executives, financial analysts, union members, consumer organizations, opinion leaders and citizens is related to our excellent economic and financial performance, international growth, corporate management, innovation capabilities and talent development, as well as our ethics behavior in full compliance of our corporate values.


Graña y Montero Group is one of the Most Admired Companies in Peru

24.09.2013 On Tuesday, the Graña y Montero Group received for second consecutive year the prize "The most admired companies" awarded by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and G de Gestión magazine. This prize resulted from a survey to senior executives of top companies in the country who acknowledged Graña y Montero among the 10 most admired companies in Peru.

This recognition reflected that we belong to a Group with strategic vision and that holds the development of its collaborators and teams at the core of its identity.

Graña y Montero lists American Depositary Shares on the New York Stocks Exchange

24.07.2013 Today our Company: Graña y Montero S.A.A., the largest engineering and construction company in Peru, listed its American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), after a successful initial public offering amounting to approximately US$413 million in gross proceeds.

The Company also granted the underwriters an option to purchase ADSs up to approximately US$62 million in gross proceeds, exercisable within 30 days.

The offering consisted of 19,534,884 ADSs, each ADS representing five common shares. The offering price was US$21.13 per ADS. As a result of the offering, Graña y Montero began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol 'GRAM'.

José Graña Miró Quesada, President of Graña y Montero, said that the Company plans to use the net proceeds of the offering to fund capital expenditures, including potential investments and acquisitions, as well as other general corporate purposes. 'We estimate that approximately 60% of the net proceeds will be invested in infrastructure projects, 10% in the acquisition of land for our real estate segment, 20% on potential acquisitions, and the remainder will be used for other general corporate purposes' he said

Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley have acted as the Global Coordinators; BTG Pactual has acted as a Joint Bookrunner; and BBVA Continental, Credicorp Capital and Interbank, have acted as Co-managers in the offering.
